The difference between have and had is , had is a form from the verb have which have is the main verb and use to express something in the present tense and use with the plural only For example : I have a blue car , but Had use to refer the past tense and express events happened in the past it use with both of plural and singular.

 For example :  singular :- he had a big home in Cairo .  plural :- We had a different opinions .
