In a fermentation system calculated maximum theoretical biomass concentration (xmax) based on heat transfer rate and the mass transfer rate is 12 g/L and 16 g/L respectively. This meant that you can never achieve a biomass concentration of more than 12 g/L. By how much percentage should I increase heat transfer area to improve the achievable biomass concentration to 16 g/L?  The option of increasing ΔΔ Tmax is not possible neither the overall heat transfer coefficient can not be increased. Given the value of KLa and CLare 0.1  s-1 and 8 mg/L.
