Are clouds and fog the same thing

No, clouds and fog aren’t the same,  actually they but they have differences, such as clouds are formed by vapor and turned into liquid, fog is formed because of cooling of ground air, another difference is that the clouds are denser than fog, the last difference is that clouds are found in a higher place than fogs, as clouds can be  as high as 12 miles above the sea or as low as 12m above the ground, while Fog is only found on the ground level.
