Introducing yourself in English can be professional if you follow these steps, first mention your name, then your job and how you help people with it, then you can talk about the reason why you come to the place, where your are, this way is useful if you are in an interview, but if you need an informal way, you can say your name only, and welcome the person, who you are introducing yourself to.

Example: Let me introduce myself, my name is ……., I’m (job title) at (company), and i’m here today for (the purpose of being here).

or Nice to meet you, my name is …. (informal way).
