Nuclear fallout which is a radioactive particles that fall to earth as a result of a nuclear explosion can travel as high as 50 miles into the atmosphere and it depends on the strength of a blast which depends on the size of the bomb as A 1,000-kiloton nuclear blast can produce third-degree burns up to 5 miles away, second-degree burns up to 6 miles away, first-degree burns up to 7 miles away and temporary blindness up to 53 miles away.
