Explain questions demand that you essentially define a subject. It can be helpful to write as though you are answering a question for someone who has no prior knowledge of the issue when doing so. And keep in mind two things. should be as specific as possible, and to define any jargon or important terminology when they are used, As you attempt to defend whatever the question is requesting of you, explain questions will require you to demonstrate cause and effect. You must write two sentences: the first must make a statement in response to the question, and the second must demonstrate the effect.

Ex: Explain the causes of climate change.
