Yes, " where the crawdads sing" is a good movie, because the narrative easily switches between Kya's early years and the case of the murdered guy while being written in two alternating timelines. The language of author Delia Owens is delicate and seamless, integrating the transition between the two distinct stories and connecting them in unexpected ways, also it has a strong romantic portrayal, an excellent cast of characters, excellent writing to bring the characters to life, and performers who do a terrific job in their roles.
