No, whole flaxseeds are not digestible. Whole flaxseeds cannot be digested by the body. The flax shell contains all of the nutrients, including fiber, lignans, and fatty acids. Flax seeds have no nutritional value if they pass through your system undigested. So it is best to grind them before eating them to improve digestion.
