Some ideas contend that wooden carriages loaded with stone blocks were pulled up the sides of the pyramids using causeways. Using this theory, just 10 men would have been required to drag the stones up the ramps because they would have been greased. The stone block may have been moved into position by wooden sliders after it had attained the desired height.
