Yes, Israel may attack Iran.  But it is likely to occur.

Although Every day, more and more people talk about Iran and Israel starting a war. This is particularly true in light of Israeli authorities' implied threats to use air force to attack Iran if it gets close to developing nuclear weapons, as they did with Syria in 2007 and Iraq in 1981. In fact, the Iranian-Israeli conflict has the highest likelihood of erupting among all the disputes in the Middle East.

   Israel, which has nuclear weapons as well, tried in every manner it could for many years to stop Iran from gaining them. This forced the two parties to wage a covert conflict for many years. To lessen the severity of the conflict, they tended to avoid open confrontations and adhere to the politics of denial .
