Russia had only 3 presidents, before that it was part of the Soviet Union, and it was leaded by collective bodies such as the All-Russian Central Executive Committee and the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet, but in 1991 it had its full independence, and leaded by President Boris Yeltsin from 1991 until 1999, then Vladimir Putin from 2000 until 2008, then Dmitry Medvedev from 2008 until 2012, then Vladimir Putin again from 2012 until now.
