The three commercial uses of CFC or Chlorofluorocarbons are :-

  1. manufacturing of aerosol sprays
  2. blowing agents for foams and packing materials
  3. solvents and as refrigerants. 

CFC affects the atmosphere by destroying the earth's protective ozone layer which protects the earth against harmful ultraviolet (UV-B) rays and they warm the lower atmosphere of the earth that lead to change of global climate.
