Pain behind the knee can be caused by:-

  • osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis
  • Bakers Cyst
  • knee injury as ligament injury or torn cartilage.
  • Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT).
  •  benign or cancerous growth and this is very rare.
  • An infection as septic arthritis.
