There are four basic types of glass including : 

1. Flat glass : this type of glass is used mostly. It's highly transparent and used in mirrors, windows, curtain walls and doors. It can be colored during its manufacturing.
2. Sheet glass : has three types  annealed flat glass, processed flat glass and Misc.glass. It's green in color but sometimes blue. It's usually used in windows, shelves, large sized doors and table tops.
3. Wired glass : It may be patterned, smooth rolled or ground and polished. It is used in fire rated windows, doors and skylights.
4. Patterned glass: It's also known as figured or rolled glass. There is a patterned design on the glass surface. It can be used in decorations of windows, bathrooms parts and doors.
