As a strategy for connecting words for impact, similar sounding word usage is likewise called head rhyme or beginning rhyme.
Similar sounding word usage happens when words that start with a similar sound (not simply a similar letter) are utilized consistently in an expression or sentence. The sound is typically a consonant and the words don't need to be directly close to each other.
