-Glucose : •in fasting state : normal blood glucose is 70 to 115 mg/dl (3.89 to 6.38 mmol/L)
•two hours postprandial : normal blood glucose is less than 120 mg/DL (6.7 mmol/L)
-Salts : including sodium, potassium, chloride and bicarbonate.
•The normal sodium level in blood is between 136 to 146 mEq/L.
•The normal potassium level in blood is between 3.5 to 4.5 mEq/L.
•The normal chloride level in blood is between 96 to 106 mmol/L.
•The normal level of bicarbonate is 22 to 29 mEq/L.
- The normal blood level of urea nitrogen is about 11 to 23 mg/dl (7.9 to 16.4 mmol/L).
