Wuthering Heights is a novel written in 1847  by Emily Brontë and published under the pseudonym Ellis Bell. The novel was about  two noble families living on the West Yorkshire moors, the Earnshaws and the Lintons, who had unstable relationships with Earnshaw's adopted son, Heathcliff.
