Here is the recipe to make fluffy pancakes:

- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

- Pour the milk, egg and melted butter into the bowl and mix the ingredients.

- Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium-high heat. 

- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake. 

- Leave it for two minutes to cook to a golden brown colour on both sides and serve hot with syrup.
