Subhas Chandra Bose escaped from under British surveillance at his house in Calcutta on 19 January 1941 and he met Akbar Shah in Peshawar (the capital of the Pakistani) then he was taken to the home of Abad Khan who was a trusted friend of Akbar Shah's.

After that Subhas Chandra Bose began his journey to reach Soviet Union.
