-Cats can not see red or green well, and they don't see colors obviously as humans see.
-That's because cat's cones are most sensitive to blue and yellow wave lengths of light, they can not  see colours like red, orange or brown.

-Cats are similar to people with red-green colour blindness (red hues likely appear as the colour green to the cat).
