"X" and "Y" are positive in 1st quadrant.

"X" is negative and "Y" is positive in 2nd quadrant.

"X" is positive and "Y" is negative in 3rd quadrant .

"X" and "Y" are negative in 4th quadrant.

Using the mirror reflection logic

1. In 1st quadrant take a point (x,y).

1. (x,y) is mirrored with respect to X-axis getting (x,-y).
2. (x,y) is mirrored with respect to Y-axis getting (-x,y).
3. (-x,y) is mirrored with respect to X-axis getting (-x,-y).

2. In 1st quadrant take a point (y,x)

1. (y,x) is mirrored with respect to X-axis getting (y,-x).
2. (y,x) is mirrored with respect to Y-axis getting (-y,x).
3. (-y,x) is mirrored with respect to X-axis getting (-y,-x).

We can form a complete circle by joining the eight previous points.
