Should aboriginal be capitalised

Aboriginal  should be capitalized if you're referring to Indigenous Australians and when referring to the Aboriginal people of Canada( "Aboriginal peoples of Canada"), but  if you are referring generically to the original inhabitants of other continents, in this case it should be in lower case.
