  • Britain who developed of the first tank that was first introduced in the Battle of the Somme in 1916 under the command of British General Douglas Haig.
  • France that fielded their first tanks in April 1917.
  • Germany who had A7V Sturmpanzerwagen tank was designed in 1917 and was used in battle from March 1918 as they concentrated more on the development of anti-tank weapons.
